SMAI can today announce that the company will be working in 2018 to raise funds and awareness for the LIVIN organisation.

LIVIN was founded in honour of a great man Dwayne Lally who like many others took his life after suffering in silence from a mental illness.

LIVIN is all about living your life at the top and breaking the stigma on mental health. Connecting, supporting and encouraging one another to talk about their feelings and challenges because “It Ain’t Weak to Speak”.

"We understand at SMAI that we are involved in an industry that is closely linked to mental health" said James Cairns, Community Manager at SMAI.

"We are proud to be able to help spread the LIVIN message as wide as possible. Whether you are an average hobbyist or an elite athlete, mental health affects everyone and removing that stigma is vital".

The first SMAI x LIVIN event will take place on Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong. Selected winners from local Crossfit Affiliates will have the chance to train with Crossfit Games competitors James Newbury and Jess Coughlan in a beautifully scenic location.
