In a bout widely acclaimed as the fight of the year, George Kambosos Jnr has defeated Teófimo López to now claim WBA, IBF, and WBO lightweight belts.
A thrilling 12 round battle took place at Madison Square Garden, in New York City where both fighters brought an energy and ferocity not seen in other recent big name boxing matches. But it was Kambosos who won out the night in a split decision, to claim one of Australia's biggest ever boxing wins.
