Unbreakable Weapon Range - Warranty

GENERAL WARRANTY

All products sold by SMAI have a manufacturing warranty that covers the structural integrity of the product, and so long as the equipment is fit for its intended purpose (this excludes clearance items). If your product turns out to be faulty or damaged, SMAI will repair, replace or refund the item; unless (but not limited to):

The product has not been used for its original intended purpose
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damages
Misuse
Incorrect installation/assembly
Improper storage
Poor maintenance
Outside the warranty period
Lack of proof of purchase

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Please be advised that it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure correct installation and maintenance of the products, and inform further users or clients of proper equipment usage and handling. We recommend that you conduct regular equipment audits to ensure that all your products are correctly maintained and replaced as required.

Warranty Period	All components - 12 Months SMAI will provide parts required in legitimate warranty claims and repair or replace for items deemed under warranty.
The Unbreakable Warranty - Summary	Products from the SMAI Unbreakable range are manufactured from an extremely resilient Polypropylene material, which, when used for its intended purpose (Martial Arts Weapons Training) will be covered under warranty for breakage* for 12 months.
What is covered under the Unbreakable warranty?	Our Unbreakable weapons are built to last, however no product is indestructible. So, what does unbreakable mean? And what is covered under the Unbreakable warranty? *Unbreakable means we warrant that the item will not break or "snap" - or in other words - the item will not separate or cause to separate into pieces as a result of a blunt blow, shock, or strain
Intended Use	SMAI Unbreakable Martial Arts weapons are designed for intended use in Martial Arts Weapons Training in supervised, controlled environments - this includes weapon to weapon contact of the same type and material. Any other use is not considered intended use
Avoid	We stand by our Unbreakable range, and under intended use, guarantee not to break for 12 months. Doing any of the following will void your Unbreakable Warranty. Do not: Impact an Unbreakable weapon with any other weapon material type, for example, a Damascus Steel Katana. Do not: Cut or slice the weapon with any sharp material Do not: Impact with any sharp surface Do not: allow weapon to be in contact with hot surfaces or near heat sources like heaters or any flames Do not: use any cleaning liquids
Exclusions	Normal wear and tear such as cosmetic damages, scratches or dents - damage to the surface or components during the course of intended use, or to lack of care or misuse Breakage due to unintended use Bending - Polypropylene can withstand extreme bending forces. If your weapon has become bent, simply bent it back to straight and continue to use. It's a feature, and not a defect.
Maintenance	Inspect weapon before each use for signs of damage. Discontinue use & dispose of immediately if signs of structural failure are visible.
